So Cyber Monday Is Gone… Now What?
Well we were hoping for screaming deals on portable generators so we could shop for our winter generator from the comfort of our home. So why are these great “come on” deals only on flat screens and toasters?
I wanted a 4000 watt generator for $99! So where is it? Luckily, there are deep discounts available on certain models right now. But the best bet is to shop around.
Generators go on sale off and on. The important thing is to understand what you need first, then go after price after that. Don’t buy something just because it’s on sale. You end up spending more and be unhappy in the long run.
All of the items below are usually listed less than their retail price on Amazon. Yet they change often, so check often.

Remember, an investment such as this requires education for a smart choice. Use this site to educate yourself. Check out the prices on Amazon. Compare the benefits of shopping on line to going to your local big box store where your selection may be limited. And of course you can also ask me my opinion.
Maybe you’re in the market for your first generator. Maybe it’s time to upgrade your old workhorse that’s been reliable, but who knows for how much longer. What about going into one of those dual fuel models? Or maybe it’s time for propane? Diesel? Always wanted that inverter? Solar?
It’s the holiday season but with that comes WINTER. How will this winter be? If we only knew. It’s also the time to get ready for the spring and all that work you’ve been putting off. A new generator?
Often you can find great deals on the manufacturer’s websites, but we often go to the old standby, Amazon, Home Depot and Lowe’s.
Remember, there are all sorts of items on great deals on Cyber Monday. What about replacement oil, spark plugs, covers or transfer switches?
Portable Generators can run you from $200 all the way to thousands. We often “underpower” our choices based on cost. No one ever said, “I wish I had purchased one with less power.” Wouldn’t it be great to get the power we need at the price we’re comfortable with. That’s what sales are for!
Ah, Cyber Monday…
Great deals, free shipping, shopping from the comfort of your own home.
We’ll have Happy Holidays from the Generator Grader.
